So where in the town is the Audrey Crown Dam and the hotel that burned down? I've certainly never heard of either one. But I second the motions that the only departed souls in this town are the ones still living there. And I too remember walking down to the old store to get packets of BB's to go hunting in the abandoned oil fields and walking the railroad tracks pulling up the stakes or throwing rocks at the glass fixtures on the electrical lines.

I grew up in Earlsboro, in an old two story house on the hill a few blocks north of Main Street. We used to play outside at all times of the day and night, I don't remember ever seeing anything that gave me the creeps. This included playing in the abandoned oil fields around town and the cemeteries north of town.
Question: Has anyone heard anything about a woman who hung her child, then herself in Earlsboro? Heard some rumors about my parents house, just doing some research.

I grew up in Earlsboro and have never heard of any ghost stories. The scariest thing I have ever experienced in Earlsboro, is being on the back of a horse running uncontrollably across a pasture. As for our old buildings we welcome any and all funds that would allow us to bring our structures back to life.:)

Having been thru the town many times, it is certainly not a ghost town in the strictest sense. The video clip would be more enjoyable if edited down to half its present length.

I am not a ghost hunter by trade, nor am I a psychic, but I do get feelings when in certain places that are unexplainable. Earlsboro didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. In fact, while we were in the main street area, a group of ladies walking their dogs strolled by and said hello. The creepiest place I have been is a house on the dirt road that leads into Fallis, which hasn't made it's way to the site yet. I'm holding it out until October....*evil laugh*>:-)
