It is no wonder you felt unease at this home. My mother (83) grew up near the old March place back in the 1930's. She lived in a house very close by which was a pre-statehood home and is still standing. Old Mrs. March was very, very mean and hateful and mom was scared of her when she was little. My great-great grandmother lived in the old log home nearby too and once let her turkeys get loose and they ended up in Mrs. March's yard and she was in a rage over it for a long time. She never EVER wanted anyone to come into her house (and obviously she still doesn't). She didn't even want her grandchildren to come to the house and it was the rumor at that time that when they came to stay with her for a visit she wouldn't feed them the whole time they were there. My mother could tell you all about this place and a lot about Fallis as well.

I do agree with one thing, Fallis itself as a whole did not seem to be haunted! It is a beautiful abandonded town, great for pictures! However the homestead is haunted, as soon as I can I will put the video proof on our website,(www.topic1.webs.com)for everyone to see, you will have to be a little patient though, I have to get the equipment to transfer it onto the computer, but we have evp's and pics of other places if you want to check them out!If I offended anyone with my last post I apologize that was not my intent! Thank you abandoned oklahoma, I love your website, it gives our group many ideas of places to investigate, Thanks again!

well to the sceptics out there , I have been hunting as well, and I know the difference between animals eyes and red eyes of something around 6ft., I have lived in oklahoma pretty much all my life and have never seen a 6ft coon, snake, skunk, oppossum, dog or any other animal for that matter in oklahoma. We went up stairs to investigate it after we recorded the eyes and there was nothing there.I understand that people are scared to admit that there is spirits out there but there is, but I would like to thank all the skeptics because if it wasnt for you then ghost hunting just wouldnt be fun! Thank you and let me know when you find that 6ft. Racoon! :)

I think that to go out on an average night you would find Fallis is alot less haunted than you might think. Abondoned and junked out but I think haunted is stretching it. I have been in the old home stead coon hunting with my husband and while yes we were being watched and yes they were eyes coons, possums, snakes, skunks and occasionally a stray dog or coon dog were always the culprits. We were married in 94 in the Church and my mother law cleaned Saturday evenings alone and never once did we run into unexplained. But by all means shows you what the gift of imagination can bring. I believe in haunted places and ghosts but do not believe there is much more than junk and imagination in Fallis. Matter of fact there were a few things that we had given to one person or another in the pictures.

The poem is very creepy, as well as the black walls in the room it was written in.

Our ghost hunting group happened onto this same location while visiting Fallis in July of 2009. We too found this location to be extremley creepy, having that being watched feeling, even more so going in at dusk. We had our video camera, voice recorders, and digital cameras in with us. On the video that we have, there are a pair of eyes at about chest level in the upstairs backroom. We looked there at once with our flashlights and there was nothing in there to reflect, nor were there any animals in there at the time. One of our investigators experienced someone breathing in her ear, and we all heard whispers and footsteps up on the second floor. We have plans on going back, but are not sure when it will be. It was a very exciting experience for our small group.
