I love the picture of the bench in the trees. It's kinda like nature reclaiming what originally belonged to it. Good job.

Lmao. It looks like those may have belonged to someone that didn't have very good bowel control. Gross.

Hey, don't get jealous that I have more ballls than you, or ass in this case. It's coming down the pipe I promise. History and documents aren't as readily avalible as Chilocco. Plus I am trying to figure out a creative way to do it since there is already 2 posts on it. Once this Blackburn hype dies down.. I'll release the next big thing. ;)

I have been to the gate a couple times, but never made it inside. I've heard its pretty haunted. I'm gonna check it out soon and get some good shots

hi everyone, new to the forum, although I've been reading this website for a few years. I had the chance back in '07 to do building clearing with my National Guard unit at Hissom.(Several of us are in law enforcement and knew who to talk to.) We spent one drill weekend on the site practicing room clearing and building searches. I only got to explore about 6 buildings. I do remember the pool room, which was creepy as hell and the building with the auditorium. One of the buildings still had pictures from what appeared to be coloring books taped to the walls which creeped me out for some reason. I never made it to the morgue, but talking to some of the guys who did, they said it was scary as hell and gave them a weird feeling. Supposedly, one of the guys laid on the metal slab and had his pic taken, but I have not seen the pic to prove that it happened. Definitely a creepy place to visit, too bad it is all gone now.
