Pictures taken by boat. You can kind of see the railroad tracks in front of the storage rooms and under the power lines. the trains took the ice to other places around the area. They would cut large blocks of ice out of the river during the winter when it froze and store them in the "rooms" you can see in the first and second pics.

Very nice. It would be cool to get into the place.

Finally got around to checking this place out today.

Nothing to see here...

The building with all the windows is an empty shell with no roof and a lot of trees inside. So many, it wasn't even easy to walk through. Nothing remains inside the walls except a few support beams which now have nothing to support in the absence of a roof. There are a few foundations close to the river but they don't have anything to see there either.

I had hoped for at least some storage cellars or something but I couldn't locate anything of the sort. Took a few pics but honestly it's not even worth uploading em. Bummer.

I had a couple things lined up on this trip and the other location nearby was a total bust also. The sewage plant pictured here has been demolished. The round structure still stands but the rest is nothing but foundations and piles of rubble.
