Definitely a creepy place. I couldn’t find any history on the location, but it sits right off I-35 in Guthrie. If you look at pic #66, you will see a vulture or other large bird that had made the top floor his home. The door behind the bird was only accessible through that room, and we couldn’t get past the bird.
Where exactly is this place? I’d really like to visit.
Make sure that you have the property owners permission before you go climbing around, and if you get hurt remember that your probably trespassing……
Thank you Jim. Always get the property owners permission first. This can be obtained through the Logan County Assessors office. They will be happy to help you out!
I live in Guthrie and have seen this house many times. Thanks for the pictures, I’ve always wondered what it looked like up close!
Me and my dad where it was asome.
This is the house you can see from I35? I always wanted to get a look at the inside! Also, I would like ot give a huge, gigantic THANKS to the author of this website! I’ve been to many of the locations on this site, as well as quite a few more. I’ve been waiting for years for a site like this and I’m so thankful there is someone else out there interested in documenting Oklahoma’s history in this manner! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
I am looking to buy an old house or building in Oklahoma for a new haunted attraction. Does anyone have the owner’s contact information?
I pass this house all the time. What about the farmhouse across the street? That place looks creepy. I wanna check the house also north of the Guthire homestead. ( north of the pizza hut and Sleep Inn)
