I attended this great little school for 7th and 8th grade in 62-64. We had to request a transfer to attend Edmond HS instead of OKC schools. I made many friends who I am still in contact with 50 yrs later. The pictures brought back a lot of good memories. Thanks

wow…..went to fist semester 5th grade here……….then moved to the village and went to andrew johnson
I remember the classrooms had combined classes 6th grade was with 5th grade and so on….

My Dad got transferred from Edmond to Mississippi in the middle of the school year in 1968. I was in the fourth grade and really loved going to that school!! I have many great memories of living in Edmond as a youngster. I can also remember an amusement park close by called Frontier City. My first girlfriend lived down the road from us. Her name was Lisa Dick. I cried when I had to move.

I always wondered what happened to that great little school. I can't remember the principals name when i was there but she was sooo sweet. I was there from 1972-73 in the fourth grade. My teacher was Mrs. Morrow. My sister was also there in the third grade. Her teacher and also a dear friend of the family was Mrs A. Brown which was also her previous teacher at Longfellow Elem. WOW time really fly's right on by!!!

I attended in 1958-1959 in the eighth grade, moved to Florida. Being an army brat, I was unused to such a small school but it was a fun year.

WOW. I attended 1st – 4th, Mrs McElroy, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Morrow, 1970-1974, Principal Moore – it was a great little school, so sad to see it this way, many happy memories….

Thanks! This was great! I went to Lone Star in 1975 and 1976, until it closed in 1976 and I lived close by. I even went to Lone Star Baptist Church right next door. I just went and took a few pictures of the exterior earlier this year but your footage of the inside is great and it brought back a bunch of memories.

Wow thts exactly what my elementry school looked like when I was a kid. They are the same design all the way down to the brick wall & the wooden panneling! The must of built them all the same back then.
