I know just before it close it doors for good it use to be a church. Then the church close or move back in the last 90th. But I look at it and now someone has fix it so no one could get into it any more and I know know who own it now but I could ask the city of Bartlesville.

i went to school at washington from first to sixth grade…………some where like 1942 to 1946. mrs carson first grade, mrs stevens in third grade i still play the tonette lol!! fifth grade mrs scrivens and six grade miss cupp. those were great days in my life second grade and fourth grade teachers cannot recall right now. principal was a lady also and her name does not come to mind.

Yes! there is a Lincoln, it is still standing & in good shape. It has been occupied by some business (I don't recall the name) for over 20 yrs now. There is also Douglass is has always been occupied by the ARC as far back as I remember. It is very close to Washington. Those 3 original schools are the only ones left on the west side with exception of the still active & renovated Jane Phillips.

Wasn't there also a Lincoln Elementary on the West side of town? I remember going to a school to play basketball on the playground with my dad and I thought it was called Lincoln, but it looked a lot like this (in my memory anyway). I don't remember Lincoln being a school when I was older, so it may have gone away when they eliminated several schools in the 70's and 80's like Highland Park and Limestone.
